CabinetManager at Hannover Messe 2025: All Aboard the Immersive Maintenance Express

From April 21 to 25, Lightstream was on site at Hannover Messe 2025—and what a ride it was. Five full days. Hundreds of conversations. Dozens of international leads. And one clear message: Immersive Maintenance is no longer a concept—it's here.

🚉 Monday – From Paper to Immersive

We hit the ground running.

Day 1 marked the official launch of CabinetManager: Immersive Maintenance Starts Now, our real-time, hands-free maintenance solution powered by Apple Vision Pro.
The crowd? Curious.
The reactions? Immediate.
The buzz? Palpable.

We had the honour of welcoming Flemish Prime Minister Matthias Diependaele, who addressed the FIT – Flanders Investment & Trade reception right next to our booth. His message was clear: Flanders is leading—through innovation, talent, and bold entrepreneurship.

Visitors from over 15 countries passed by—Germany, the US, the UK, France, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, and more. Many were still at the start of their digital journey. And what they saw?
👉 A clear first step: CabinetManager, the one-scan, three-click solution to go from paper to digital.
Right next to it?
👉 The second train, already boarding: CabinetManager Immersive—fully heads-up, hands-free field support.

🔍 Tuesday – Curious Eyes, Real Conversations

By Day 2, word had spread.

Our booth welcomed more visitors, from industry leaders to system integrators, all looking to explore what "immersive" could mean for their operations. For many, the conversation still started with the basics:
📄 Ditching paper.
📱 Creating a central, digital source of truth.

But what followed was always the same:
💡 The realisation that Immersive Maintenance is not some future concept—it’s today’s opportunity.

And yes—👀 the press took notice. Expect to see familiar faces popping up on Hannover Messe’s social feeds and homepage.

🛠️ Wednesday – The PoC Momentum

Midweek came with serious traction.

We officially confirmed three Proof of Concepts for CabinetManager Immersive:
✔️ A global wind turbine manufacturer
✔️ A major mining company
✔️ A specialist in foundry construction

Meanwhile, Dieter Delaere and Brend Quinet continued their marathon at the booth—sharpening demos, answering questions, and handing out ticket after ticket to the digitalisation train.

Back at Lightstream HQ – Hannover, the rest of the team supported projects remotely, keeping everything on track.

🎂 Thursday – Energy Peaks and Birthday Cheers

If we had to pick one day that felt like a turning point—it was Thursday.

The conversations were constant. The interest? Still growing.
And honestly? It may have been our most impactful day.

We also celebrated a special moment: Dieter Delaere’s birthday, right in the booth. Even with a year added to the scoreboard, he and Brend brought the same unstoppable energy that had carried us all week.

The vibe?
🚄 Full steam ahead.
🍌 Possibly fueled by bananas.

🚧 Friday – The Final Stretch

While many exhibitors were already packing up, we were still going strong.

Our final team members stayed on-site, demoing CabinetManager Immersive until the very last visitor walked by. No rushed goodbyes, no early exits. Just one more round of hands-free, heads-up, real-time maintenance in action.

And here’s the truth:
This wasn’t just a product showcase.
It was a glimpse into a new way of working—where technicians are empowered, data is centralised, and maintenance becomes proactive, efficient, and even a little exciting.

🙏 A Week to Remember

To everyone who stopped by—from technicians to transformation leaders—thank you. You made this week unforgettable.

To FIT – Flanders Investment & Trade: your support, guidance, great food, and evening beers made all the difference.
And to Simona, our internal rockstar: thank you for being our steady voice, our logistics ninja, and our unofficial event therapist. We owe you.
